Kolkata: Kolkata CBI office in AJC Bose Road has gone for quarantine from Tuesday. Following a senior officer of the CBI’s Anti Corruption Branch tested positive, all the officials and staff have been asked to go for 14-day home quarantine as per the ministry of health guidelines. The disinfection of the office premises and the surrounding area has been started.The senior officer had last attended the office on 1st June 2020.The CBI SP in charge of the establishment has said that a senior IPS officer was tested positive on Monday. He has advised all the officials and staff who had came in contact with the senior officer to go for home quarantine for 14 days. The SP has asked them to monitor their health during the 14.days and contact the health authorities if found any symptoms of Covid-19.
